The battle between Cox and Nexstar may be coming to a close...with no winners. Associated Press reported a few hours ago that Cox Communications is looking into the possibility of selling four cable operations serving approximately 900,000 customers, including the operations that own the franchises in Carthage, Lamar, San Angelo, Texas, Abilene, Texas, and Amarillo, Texas, that have been at the center or who are nearing a showdown with Nexstar over retransmission rights.
The company has no plans to try to sell its Arkansas operations, according to the AP article.
