Beverly Enterprises, recently targeted for a takeover by Formation Capital (see the information in Monday's The Turner Report) filed papers with the Securities and Exchange Commission today indicating that its CEO, William Floyd earned $900,000 in salary and an additional $1.3 million in bonus for 2004.
Beverly, based in Fort Smith, at one time had nursing homes dotting the landscape of southwest Missouri, and still owns one in Anderson.
According to the proxy statement, Floyd also received another $1.8 million in other forms of compensation, including life insurance, vesting of restricted stock and use of the company's private jet.
