O'Sullivan Industries director of strategic planning and communications Mike Franks was elected president of the Southwest Missouri State University Board of Governors earlier today, according to the Neosho Daily News.
Franks, a Neosho resident, succeeds former Lamar R-1 Superintendent Dr. Barbara Burns. Franks is a former president of the Neosho R-5 Board of Education.

The Diamond R-4 Board of Education will discuss personnel issues during a 7 p.m. Monday, March 21, closed session in the high school hospitality room, according to a notice on the district's website.
