Clay trial pushed back once more

The embezzlement trial of former Joplin Boys and Girls Club director Rob Clay has been delayed again, according to Jasper County Circuit Court records.
The next motions hearing in the case is scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, July 11. Clay, who is accused of stealing at least $25,000, according to the charge and quite possibly more than $100,000, according to print and broadcast media reports, was originally scheduled to stand trial March 24 and again June 16.
He was originally charged with the crime early in 2004.

thanks for the Clay update, but we are wondering what your thoughts are on Channel 7 leading their 6 o'clock newscast with USA Baseball, which is admittedly a big story, but while the other two guys were talking about Jeremy Jones being taken for mental testing!! We all know he's nuts, but still. What's worse, at five when both KODE and KSN were doing the same thing, and Alaniz was giving a preview of her interview for tonight, KOAM was leading their newscast with 2 national stories. Could it be just because Dowe was off tonight, no one knows what to do??
