ConAgra is facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit in U. S. District Court in Nebraska, according to an Associated Press article.
The article says ESPN is suing the company for allegedly backing out of advertising agreements for golf and college football contests that would have paid the network millions of dollars.
ConAgra has a plant in Carthage and is a partner in Renewable Environmental Services, which has been under the gun for causing an odor in Carthage for several months.
