A correction on a couple of earlier items.
I reported Monday that former Carthage Press Sports Editor Corky Simpson, now a sports columnist, for the Tuscon Citizen in Arizona is retiring. He is not. That is good news. I will make the correction on that item, as well as on an earlier item on which I printed that misinformation.
