Hit-and-run trial rescheduled

The trial date for a Joplin teen charged with the hit-and-run killing of a Joplin High School student has been rescheduled to July 27, according to Jasper County Circuit Court records.
Travis Wyrick, 19, is charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident in connection with the death of Jamison Alexander in January. Pretrial motions and/or a plea will take place June 20.
The case is being heard before Circuit Court Judge David Dally.
