Miami lawyer pleads guilty to DWI

Tondra Jo Phillips' law license is in still good standing, according to the Missouri Bar Association, but her driver's license appears to be a thing of the past.
Ms. Phillips, whose address is listed in Jasper County Circuit Court records as Miami, Okla., pleaded guilty May 24 to driving while intoxicated and was sentenced by Judge Joseph Schoeberl to one year in jail. The sentence was suspended and she was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. She was also fined $300 and required to pay costs.
Court records indicate Ms. Phillips was stopped on Oct. 14, 2004 by the Jasper County Sheriff's Department and she refused to take a breathalyzer test.
