Today's Springfield News-Leader has an article about the lawsuit brought against the Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau by a former employee, Glenna McKitterick, who claims she was sexually harassed by priest Phillip Bucher and it was ignored by Bishop John J. Liebrecht and other church officials.
In her lawsuit, Ms. McKitterick claims that Bucher had a girlfriend. The woman, who is named in the News-Leader story but not in The Turner Report, which first broke the story, denied any trysts with the priest. The story can be found at:
