A brief hearing was held today in Jasper County Circuit Court in the case of Rob Clay, the former director of the Boys and Girls Club of Joplin, who is charged with stealing from that organization.
Some media reports have indicated that Clay may have stolen between $100,000 and $200,000.
Pretrial motions will be held Aug. 15, according to court records, and a trial date has been set for Aug. 19. If for some reason the trial cannot go that day, it will be held Sept. 1.
