Capital murder trial set for December

The trial for a capital murder suspect who was finally captured at a Neosho home will begin Dec. 1, according to today's Springdale Morning News.
Timothy Howell, 41, is charged in connection with the September 2004 stabbing death of Elvin Ramirez in Bentonville, Ark. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty, according to the article, which says that Howell spent 20 years in prison after stabbing a man to death in 1984 and served eight.
Howell's son, Timothy McChristian, 20, is also charged with murder and is scheduled to come to trial Oct. 31. Both were arrested in Neosho Sept. 3, 2004.
McChristian is free on $50,000 bond. Howell is being held on $1 million bond.
