Fact check on stations' Brandon Kahl coverage

Brandon Kahl, 25, Lamar, entered a not guilty plea Monday in Barton County Circuit Court to a manslaughter charge in connection with the death of his girlfriend's two-year-old son Alexander Cole.
KOAM, KODE, and KSNF each had a different version of that story and, from what I heard, it appears KODE is the only one that had its facts straight.
The other stations had only minor mistakes, but they were mistakes. On KOAM's morning news show, it was reported that Kahl pleaded guilty in Lamar County Circuit Court. Of course, Lamar is the county seat, but it is Barton County.
On its 5 p.m. newscast, KSNF reported that the plea had taken place today rather than Monday.

Not a one of them have their facts straight. But I guess that's the cops fault for not giving the facts to them straight. Or maybe they don't want them straight.

What did KOAM do wrong? They had the correct story on Monday, the day it happened. I think your facts need to be checked before you say everyone made mistakes.

Sorry, you know what they say about living in glass houses. It was KOAM that made the statement about Lamar County, not KODE. I will correct that immediately.

I just wish that the cops would at least tell us, the family of the child, when the trial is. I think we deserve to keep updated! This tragidy is tearing our hearts out and we want to know whats going on. Thank you all who are at least giving us any information.
