Local stations had big stories covered well

You have to give credit to all three local stations for their work during their 5 p.m. newscasts Monday night.
All three stations carried the tragic story of the death of stunt pilots from Neosho and Springdale, Ark., while KOAM had the video and story on the Moark situation.
KSNF, meanwhile, had everyone beat with its comprehensive coverage of Gary Bandy's vacation. While other stations missed out on this extraordinary news story, anchor Tiffany Alaniz grilled Bandy thoroughly about his whereabouts and adventures during the week he was gone.
Where are Chuck Broyles and Mike Pound when you need them?

I assuming you missed it, so you don't know that KSN broke the story on the two pilots death on sunday night, so maybe that's why they were able to talk about Gary Bandy's vacation. They weren't playing catch up like KOAM, so they had the time to talk about Gary.

Three more news stories in that time would have been nice or an interview with someone who is doing something newsworthy. I really wasn't too concerned about who got the pilots' story first.

RT,
just read this post and the replies, that's certainly a first for you. if it was KOAM, you would be concerned. Still, KSN'S been doing what you wanted all along...going straight to news and then talked about bandy's vacation..so why do you really care? seems like you just like to pick on them for some reason. they must have really pissed you off at some time.

The pilots' deaths was a big story and mattered to just about anyone who ever got a chance to see the Franklins at their best. KSN had it first. Who gives a crud if Tiffany asks Gary about his vacation? KOAM bites. If you can't afford to watch it on satellite, and have to rely on rabbit ears, the reception is horrible. At least KSN's technology wasn't lost in the 50s, and you can actually see the picture. KOAM is in serious need of a technological upgrade. Watching their programming is like getting a local newspaper printed on a mimeograph machine.
