Springfield station searching for anchor

The leading news station in Springfield, KYTV, is searching for a "weekday anchor," according to a listing on JournalismJobs.com. The anchor appears to be meant as a replacement for Tony Beason, who recently retired after being at Channel 3 for more than two decades.
"The ideal candidate must me a strong newsroom leader, provide helpful insight concerning new coverage decisions and demonstrate consistently solid live reporting skills. The demonstrated ability to showcase news stories effectively is required." Resumes and tapes have to be submitted by 5 p.m. July 25, according to the ad.
The ad says "strong initiative and attention to detail required. Ability to tell complicated stories with 'live ability' required. Prefer three to five years experience." Candidates for the position must have a valid driver's license and be insurable, according to the ad.
