Moark official receives change of judge

It appears Moark and its regional manager Dan Hudgens are employing different strategies to combat the animal abuse charges filed against them.
Newton County Circuit Court records indicate Hudgens has asked for and received a change of judge in the case. Judge Greg Stremel signed off on the change last week.
Meanwhile Moark is scheduled to go to trial Dec. 8 and 9, according to court records, which do not indicate any request for a change of judge.
Charges were filed after Prosecuting Attorney Scott Watson viewed a video taken by Rick Bussey, Neosho, of live chickens being disposed of in a dumpster.
