Two Nexstar Broadcasting affiliates are refusing to show NBC's controversial drama, "The Book of Daniel," when it opens with a two-hour show Friday, according to Reuters and Hollywood Reporter. Nexstar's Joplin NBC affiliate, KSNF, still has the program listed on the schedule on its website.
The stations refusing to air the program, according to the article, are KARK in Little Rock, Ark., and WTWO in Terre Haute, Ind.
The series features actor Aidan Quinn playing a drug-addicted Episcopolian minister who has a gay son and talks with his own personal Jesus, who is a character in the series, according to the article. The series, as you can imagine, has been a target of the conservative American Family Association.

More than likely KSN will air the show since they have not much in the way of ethics. I mean look what show airs in the afternoon on KSN during a time that use to air childrens programming, Friends. If you ever wanted to teach your children about sex, this is the show!
I fail to see a problem here as most of the self professed Christians around this area claim they talk to God on a daily basis also.
The problem is not with talking to God, it is with the severe lack of ethics displayed by the pastor, his family and all involved.
Can you say uptight much? Can't be any worse than a lot of the crap they put on tv.
Do any of you want KSN or any station for that matter deciding what you can and can't watch. By the way, they did air it.
Here's a thought. If you don't like a TV show, DON'T WATCH IT! Heck, read a book, go out and get some exercise, talk to your spouse, go rake your yard, volunteer someplace. And if enough of us stop watching this manure, they might actually put something worthwhile on!
What's that? Vegas is on? Oh well, time to get off of here.
