Packed house for Natural Disaster performance

The headline is misleading, no doubt about it.
Most of the people who attended the monthly Johnson Family Musical Show at the old Spring Valley school near Tipton Ford Saturday night were there to be entertained by the multi-talented Johnson family. "Natural Disaster," the 1950s/60s rock/country group with which I allegedly sing, was merely an afterthought, but we had a great time during our 45-minute set.
It was great to see some of my students from Joplin and former students from Diamond, as well as the man behind the monthly musicals, Burney Johnson, who was my Spanish and civics teacher at East Newton High School. Thanks, Mr. Johnson, for inviting us.
