Wadsworth fails to appear for hearing

A Fayetteville, Ark., man convicted last year by a Jasper County jury on seven counts of enticement of a child failed to show for a court hearing Thursday and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to court records.
Donal Wadsworth, 46, was one of those who was captured through one of Diamond Police Officer Jim Murray's internet sex stings. Murray posed as a 13-year-old girl and Wadsworth attempted to meet with this fictitious girl at the George Washington Carver National Monument to have sex. When he arrived, he was arrested.
Wadsworth was free on $20,000 bond while appealing his conviction when he was arrested by the Fayetteville Police Department during a similar operation. On Feb. 17, after a petition by the Newton County Prosecuting Attorney's office, Judge Tim Perigo revoked Wadsworth's bond and increased it to a $100,000 cash bond.
