Senate leaves major loophole in lobbying bill

A major loophole exists in the lobbying bill passed by the U. S. Senate last week, according to an article in today's Boston Globe. Many of the last-second earmarks that have come under scrutiny during the past few months would still be possible thanks to this loophole.
