Emery among legislators opposing ethanol measure

Only four representatives, including Ed Emery, R-Lamar, voted against a measure passed by the House and Senate Thursday which would require all regular gas sold to feature 90 percent gasoline and 10 percent ethanol.
The Senate approved the bill 29-4 with area senators Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, Jack Goodman, R-Mount Vernon, Delbert Scott, R-Lowry City, and Norma Champion, R-Springfield, all voting in favor.
