Firm started by governor's brother, friends to provide $2 million for ethanol project

Associated Press reports that documents filed with the Missouri secretary of state's office indicate a firm started by Governor Matt Blunt's lobbyist brother Andy, among others, will provide a $2 million loan to a company planning to build an ethanol plant in the state.
The article indicates Andrew Blunt has reduced his involvement in the firm, which he says is just a coincidence, even though it came at a time when his involvement had just become public and was receiving unfavorable publicity.
Also reducing his involvement in the venture, according to the article, is Mike Kehoe, state transportation commissioner, and incidentally, a big contributor to the governor's campaign funds.
