Governor's family causing him problems

Steve Kraske's column in today's Kansas City Star suggests that Governor Matt Blunt may have a Billy Carter-type problem with his younger brother Andrew.
Those of us who remember the 1970s will never forget the unfavorable publicity Billy Carter brought upon his brother's presidency with his illegal contacts with Libya, Billy Beer, and other shenanigans. Kraske points out that this week's revelation that Andrew Blunt has invested in a company that is seeking ethanol deals, at the same time his brother, the governor, is pushing successfully for increased usage of ethanol in Missouri, is not helping the governor's standing in the polls.

Randy, at least you could have done a Neil Bush or even Roger Clinton reference. Billy Carter is for geezers who don't even have computers.

I guess it's a good thing I decided not to talk about Donald Nixon.

Nobody in the Nixon clan was more of an embarassment than Dick.
