Former Lamar businessman enters not guilty plea

Former Lamar businessman Kirk Davisson, 46, Sheldon, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Vernon County Circuit Court to charges of invasion of privacy and receiving stolen property.
A pre-trial conference has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8.
Davisson faces similar charges in Bates County Circuit Court,for allegedly invading women's privacy in a tanning booth, and according to Bates County court records, he has pleaded guilty to a privacy invasion charge in the past.
Davisson at one time owned Taco Palace in Lamar.
