Not all Republicans happy with sudden push on social issues

The GOP push toward social issues, rather than immigration, war, the economy, the price of gasoline, and other immediate problems was summed up by Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt in a quote featured in a recent Associated Press article:

"Family, faith, patriotism and hard work bind us together as Americans. Our laws should reflect those priorities, and House Republicans are committed to the American Values Agenda, policies that stress the core values on which our nation was built."

Apparently, not all Republicans are inclined to agree with Blunt. A New York Times article today indicates some feel this push is going to hurt them in their re-election bids.
