Richard spreads money to Republican campaigns

One of the nice things about not having any opposition, either in the primary or the general election is that you can spend your money on other party races.
That's what Rep. Ron Richard, R-Joplin, has been doing, according to his quarterly report filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Richard collected $725, with only one maximum $325 contribution, from Ameren UE. He spent $9,677.18, leaving him with $45,234.82.
The expenditures included $5,000 to the House Republican Reelection Committee, $1,000 to Sen. Jim Talent's re-election campaign, $650 to Chuck Surface's campaign for reelection as Jasper County presiding commissioner and also varying amounts to southwest Missouri Republican representatives for their reelection campaigns.
