Washington Post article examines McCaskill campaign

State Auditor Claire McCaskill's change in campaigning strategy is examined in an article in today's Washington Post.
When she was beaten by Matt Blunt for governor two years ago, Ms. McCaskill campaigned heavily in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas and didn't campaign much in outstate Missouri. This year, we are receiving some attention.
This strategy is not just for Missouri, the article indicates, but is being used in other races.
Of course, Ms. McCaskill's cause might have been helped if the Democratic party had found strong candidates to run against Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt and other Republican incumbents in southwest Missouri.
