Journal offers story on late Joplin Globe editor

My apologies for not linking immediately to the Joplin Business Journal for its article on the death of its publisher and executive editor Tom Murray. The Journal was his last news project.
Mr. Murray was better known, of course, for the two-and-a-half decades he spent with The Joplin Globe, much of that time as the newspaper's editor.

As a sad note, I should mention that the Joplin Globe posted the Tuesday stories on its website and apparently the powers that be do not feel Mr. Murray merits a separate feature.
Hopefully, something will be in the print edition, but I am not counting on it.

There is a story, though short, on JoplinDaily.com. The story was up Monday evening. At least the Daily has respect for a Joplin journalist, no matter what paper he or she worked or work for, even if he or she is was competition.

Thanks for the comment. If you will go down a few posts, you will see that I noted the Daily's article. This is good news judgment on the Daily's part.
