Library tax passes, Earl, Crane, Mouton win

The 10 cent tax levy increase for the Joplin Public Library passed by a 2531 to 1726 vote margin.
In the county clerk race, Bonnie Earl had 4948 to 3713 for Connie Mosbaugh and 1219 for Jack Stults.
Gayle Crane won the Republican nomination (and therefore the election) for Division I circuit judge with 5218 votes to 4834 for Karl Blanchard. Winner of the Republican nomination (and the election) for Division 2 Circuit Court judge was David Mouton, Carthage, with 6260 votes to 2398 for Chuck Lonardo and 1405 for Donna Kitchen.
