With 52 percent of vote counted, Thomas maintains lead

Platte County Auditor Sandra Thomas is still leading, and has slightly increased her margin in the Republican primary for state auditor, with 52 percent of the vote counted.
Ms. Thomas has 50,403 votes or 30.74 percent. Second is Col. Jack Jackson with 26.15 percent, followed by John Loudon at 23.82 percent, Mark Wright at 14.42 percent and Al Hanson at 4.88 percent.
Ms. Thomas is backed by Governor Matt Blunt and Congressman Sam Graves. Her campaign treasurer is Joplin CPA Nick Myers.
