Blunt, Reichard withdraw as lobbyists for voucher supporter

Lobbyist Andrew Blunt, younger brother of our governor, has withdrawn as a lobbyist for the Milton and Rose Friedman Foundation, according to Missouri Ethics Commission documents.
Both Blunt and Jay Reichard, who shares many of Blunt's lobbying clients, withdrew from their representation of the Friedman Foundation Sept. 1, the records indicate. The foundation, formed by economist Milton Friedman, supports the concept of educational vouchers. Friedman pioneered the concept in the mid-50s.
Cheryl Dozier, who is also the lobbyist for Alliance for School Choice, is the sole remaining lobbyist for the foundation in Missouri.
