Immigration meetings set for today in Neosho

State legislators Marilyn Ruestman, R-Joplin, Kevin Wilson, R-Neosho, and Ed Emery, R-Lamar, will have a town hall meeting 4 to 7 p.m. today at Crowder College in Neosho.
I will be interested in seeing the coverage of the event in Tuesday's Joplin Globe and Neosho Daily News. Hopefully, the newspapers will also monitor the performance of the three legislators on 1420 AM's McCormack Files this morning.

And I would be interested in seeing a little credit once in a while. Nice link Randy. But the Neosho Daily News had the story on Sunday. Where do you think Jeff got the story from?
Why don't you come to the meeting yourself?

this town hall meeting is nothing more than a Klan meeting without the robes and nooses...only now they will legislate racism.

Wes,

I didn't give credit to the first one to run the story because if you will check I posted the information on Monday, Sept. 11, nearly two weeks before it appeared in the Daily. The Globe story was no better than the Daily story, but I was aware that in a couple of weeks, the Daily link will no longer work. That being said, I have still provided links to many stories in the Daily in the past. When good stories run in any newspaper, I want to provide Turner Report readers access to them. At the same time, I simply considered this to be a story about a meeting that was going to take place so I wasn't too concerned about which story I would link to.

Boys, boys, boys. This story isn't important. It doesn't matter who got it first. Just don't screw it up. For the record, Jeff Lehr probably wrote the story last week and the Globe held it for the Monday paper.
