Lawrence County Prosecuting Attorney Robert E. George filed papers Thursday in Jasper County Circuit Court asking for a continuance in the DWI case of Jasper County Presiding Commissioner Chuck Surface.
Surface's arraignment on that charge and a charge of failure to drive on the right half of the roadway is scheduled for 10 a.m. Sept. 19.
