Charges filed against woman who showed teen how to perform oral sex on minister

Marcus Kabel's AP coverage of Rev. Raymond Lambert's preliminary hearing indicates the reasons behind McDonald County officials' decision to charge Laura Epling, the wife of another defendant, Tom Epling, with felony statutory sodomy, a charge first revealed Monday in The Turner Report:

On one occasion, the 19-year-old said, the wife of another church member walked in when she was performing oral sex on the pastor and showed her how to do so, then had intercourse with Lambert while the victim watched.

Bond for Laura Epling, the fifth Grand Valley Independent Baptist Church member to be charged with a felony sex crime involving ritual sex with children, has been set at $10,000.

Absolutely disgusting.

Anyone who was on the compound knows that Laura, "the whore," as Raymond so lovingly calls her, is one of the sickest individuals in the bunch...she is every bit as guilty as Raymond is. Laura is nothing but a dirty, terrible person who doesn't even have the right to be called human. Everyone knows that Raymond has sex with Laura far more than he ever did with his own wife, Patty. Patty is used to taking sloppy seconds, thirds, fourths, the list goes on. I guess Raymond didn't care about the fact that Laura is his first cousin. Oh, that's right, Patty is his step-sister....what is sick is that patty still decides to "stand by her man" even though he has molested young women and girls countless times. I cannot decide which is worse. They deserve everything they get coming to them.

Thank God. I was wondering when the McDonald County police Department was going to put a warrant out for her. She is a truly sick person. They all need thrown in jail.

This is beginning to sound more like a bunch of swingers that inlude children and that is sick. But so is doing it in the name of God, in my opinion. I'd like to see them all serve time behind jail bars and not just for a few days and a few months!! Then we can see how they like being the one "forced". I believe they deserve nothing less.

Amen!! Who ever posted the previous comment captivated my thoughts, exactly. These people deserve what they get (hopefully) coming to them. That is, if Judge Stremel decides to bind the case over. I am just afraid that these people will walk away with community service, or not a sentence at all, and then there will be more and more children hurt. Come to think of it, the children are not the only ones that have been damaged here....Raymond has molested almost ALL of the women that were on the compound...yes, they are over 18, but they have been scared into doing things with Raymond....Raymond tells the women that they must "submit themselves to God through him" which means that they must perform any sexual act that he requests. The man is sick and so so evil....he scared the people by telling them he was sent from God and that they need to do this like they were "pleasing Jesus." I pray everyday that justice will come to light on these people. From where I am standing, it looks like a pretty cut and dry case to me....70+ people left the place after Raymond held two disgusting, graphic meetings where he explained what he does to the women and the children. You put any one of those people up on the stand and they will all have the very same accounts of what he did and what he tells people. THE MAN IS GUILTY. For once, I hope he is put behind bars and will be the one who is FORCED to have sex.
