Stem cell initiative grabs narrow lead

The stem cell initiative, Amendment 2, which trailed most of the evening, appears to have followed the path of its top supporter in the state, Claire McCaskill, and has taken a narrow lead, with 50.4 percent of the vote, 896,076 votes, to 49.6 percent, 882,313 votes against it.
