Department of Health and Social Services loaded with inspectors

Don't let state officials say their lack of inspections of state run group homes is due to lack of money.
An article posted earlier tonight on the Springfield News-Leader website says:

Monitoring procedures at long-term care facilities have come under fire since last week’s fatal Anderson Guest House blaze, though the number of inspectors who investigate safety in these facilities is at its highest level in five years, state records show. As of July 1, there are 249 Department of Health and Social Services personnel to investigate, inspect and license long-term care centers, according to department records. This number reflects a marked increase in inspectors, which have averaged about 200 in recent years.
