Fired Up Missouri: Blunt shelved sprinkler bids

A Fired Up Missouri post provides documentation that the Blunt administration asked for bids for sprinkler system, rejected them, then restarted the process following the fatal fire at the Anderson Guest House:

Three contractors bid on the project: Stanger Industries, Century Fire Sprinklers and Simplexgrinnell, LP. But the bids were apparently rejected as too expensive. And the project was scrapped... until the deadly Anderson fire.

Well, if Blunt accepts a bid this time, we'll know the value or price he sets on 10 lives.

I don't know about you, but I'm not too hopeful.
