Nodler spends $31,000 plus in re-election bid


Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, spent $31,726.42 in his successful re-election bid, according to his 30 days after election disclosure form, filed Saturday with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
Nodler raised $44,051 during the last election cycle, including $8,875 during the last week of the campaign. He spent $6,080.96 during that time, according to the report.
The contributions came from such varied entities as Harrah's Casino, educational voucher supporter K12, Wal-Mart Stores, Freeman Physicians PAC and a number of home health concerns.
The report indicates Nodler still has $104,486.12 in his campaign account.
