Jasper County Circuit Court Judge Gayle Crane refused to dismiss a state lawsuit against Anderson Guest House owner Robert Dupont Tuesday.
Attorney General Jay Nixon brought the lawsuit against Dupont, claiming he defrauded Medicaid with his continued involvement in the operation of Guest House facilities in Anderson and Jasper County following his federal Medicaid fraud conviction.
Dupont's continued involvement in the homes, ostensibly owned by Joplin River of Life Ministries, was revealed following the November fire at the Anderson Guest House in which 11 were killed.
