Former Missouri Democratic Party chairman is new Maximus lobbyist

Eugene Bushmann, former Missouri Democratic Party chairman, is the new lobbyist for Maximus, Inc., according to Missouri Ethics Commission documents.
Maximus, as you might recall, was until March 6, a client of Andrew Blunt, younger brother of Governor Matt Blunt. The company is under investigation by a Washington D. C. grand jury for allegedly bilking the city out of tens of millions of dollars. It has also run into difficulties, including allegations of fraud in several other states. It is seeking state contracts, and already has contracts with the St. Louis School District and with Kansas City's municipal government.

It is unfortunate that it isn't possible to retroactively fire someone.
