A 40-cent increase Thursday put Nexstar Braodcasting at $10.25 per share, the first time it has been over the $10 barrier in recent years.
It also put Nexstar at the same price per share as Saga Communications, owner of KOAM and KFJX. Saga was up one cent in trading.
Nexstar Broadcasting owns KSNF in Joplin and KSFX in Springfield, and operates KODE in Joplin and KOLR in Springfield.
