Father of Memorial Middle School shooter receives 18-month sentence

Gregory White, father of accused Memorial Middle School shooter Thomas White, was sentenced to 18 months in prison during a hearing held this morning in U. S. District Court in Springfield.

Thomas White, 14, was a seventh grader at Memorial Middle School when he took a gun into the building in October, fired a shot into the ceiling and reportedly attempted to shoot at Principal Steve Gilbreth when the gun jammed.

Hearing near the beginning of June I believe, to once again establish his age. I still think it is weird that he is labeled an adult at the age of 13. Think of how many people are in prision for having sex with "adults". If he had been born in almost all of the states bordering Missouri he would still be a child now.

Nebraska=16
Kansas=10 (now seriously who thinks a 10 year old can think like an adult!)
Oklahoma any age (yaaaaaaa now we get to try 6 year olds as adults, damn the supreme court for saying we can't execute them! It would be fun to see a lil cutie with a lisp begging not to be executed.)
Arkansas 14
Tennesee 16 (though for other crimes theres no age specified again, seriously who thinks of this!)
Illinois 13 again
Iowa 14

So of the states bordering Missouri on 3 say a 13 year old is an adult and two are quite crazy, seriously 10 and no age.

P.S I was being sarcastic alot up there..
