Gannett: Blunt spokeswoman joins Thompson campaign

Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt's spokeswoman Burson Snyder is leaving the minority whip to join the political campaign of her former boss Fred Thompson, according to an article from Gannett News Service:

“It’s a lot like leaving home,” Snyder said about leaving Blunt’s staff. “It’s bittersweet.”

Snyder said she plans to join Thompson’s campaign by July, when he is expected to formally announce his candidacy. Blunt’s office has not announced a replacement for her.

“I’m very excited about this opportunity,” she said. “I think he is going to run a very different campaign.”
