Blunt applauds president's decision to commute Libby's sentence

The commuting of Scooter Libby's 30-month prison sentence has drawn much criticism, but none of it is coming from Seventh District Congressman Roy Blunt.
According to an article from Reuters, Blunt is pleased with the president's controversial decision:

"The prison sentence was overly harsh and the punishment did not fit the crime. The sentence was based on charges that had nothing to do with the leak of the identity of a CIA operative," Blunt said.
