Brother Brian and Mark Ellefsen of Carthage have been granted extra time to prepare for their federal fraud trial, according to an order filed today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Judge James C. England gave the two sides until Oct. 1 to submit a trial schedule.
The Ellefsens asked for the extension because of the complex nature of the case. More information about the case can be found in the June 28 Turner Report.
