SBJ: Mid-Missouri to close mortgage company

Springfield Business Journal just reported that Mid-Missouri Bank has decided to shut down its secondary lending operation, Mid-Missouri Mortgage and shift its operations to the main company.
Officials told the Business Journal that the decision had nothing to do with the investigation into action taken by five former officers at the bank's Joplin branch, Bank President Scott Rosenthal, and Joplin loan officers Chris Couch, Frank McReynolds, Tim Langston and Kayla Muskrat.

Say, what ever happened to that investigation? Local media outlets made a big deal about it several months ago, but never reported an update. Is the investigation continuing?

Yea, what did happen to that investigation? Did they use their political clout to buy their way out of it. It should have gone to trial by now. You know that Joe Sixpack would have already been to trail and sentenced. These guys walked away with illegal activity. I hope they aren't getting away with this but you know Joplin Good ole boys club is still strong and kickin!
