KTTS tops Springfield Arbitron ratings

Country music is alive and well in the Ozarks.
For the umpteenth time, KTTS topped the Arbitron ratings during the May rating period with a 15.0 share, double the 7.5 pulled in by KSPW, with its contemporary hits format. KTTS' rating was up from the 13.6 it posted in February.
Trailing the top two were:
3. KTOZ 7.2
4. KGBX 6.1
5. KXUS 5.1
6. KSWF 4.9
7. KOSP 4.7
7. KQRA 4.7
9. KSGF 4.4
10. KKLH 3.5

The success story of the spring book was Alice 95.5, KTOZ, which jumped from a tie for seventh at 4.7 in the fall book to a third place 7.2.
The top news/talk station in the area, Vincent David Jericho's KSGF dropped from a fourth place 6.0 to ninth at 4.4.
Happily for fans of oldies, including this writer, KOSP, 105.1, was another major success story, climbing from a 10th place 4.0 in the fall to seventh at 4.7, only two-tenths of a point out of sixth.
Count the classic country station KOMG as another winner, climbing from 4.7 to 6.1, though both totals are well below the 7.2 it scored in spring 2006.

I don't see KWFC or KWND on the list, but KADI-FM had a 1.2 for 16th out of the 19 stations on the list and KADI-AM was tied for dead last at 0.5.
