Nodler, Stevenson on board for Romney campaign

Sen. Gary Nodler, R-Joplin, and Rep. Bryan Stevenson, R-Webb City, are lining up votes for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in this corner of Missouri, according to a list of legislators released today by the Romney campaign, and featured in the Jason Rosenbaum's Columbia Tribune blog:

Romney's campaign - who already locked up the backing of Gov. Matt Blunt, former Sen. Jim Talent and House Speaker Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill - released a list of lawmakers who will "help organize grassroots efforts throughout the state and communicate Governor Romney's message of conservative change in Washington."

Those lawmakers are:

- State Senator Jason Crowell, R-Cape Girardeau
- State Senator Gary Nodler, R-Joplin
- Speaker Pro Tempore Bryan Pratt, R-Blue Springs
- State Representative Shannon Cooper, R-Clinton
- State Representative David Day, R-Dixon
- State Representative Doug Funderburk, R-St. Charles County
- State Representative Dwight Scharnhorst, R-St. Louis County
- State Representative Neal St. Onge, R-St. Louis County
- State Representative Bryan Stevenson, R-Webb City

Yeah I'm sure Romney is real happy to have Nodler's support. I can see the campaign ads now, "Vote for me, I have the Gary Nodler seal of approval."

Thats right, remember Nodler just won in a landslide and has been part of several winning presidential campaigns. Think about it, you don't like Nodler and you are usually on the losing side in elections. Nodler is one of the most popular political figures in southwest Missouri, the fact that a few of you don't like that doesn't change it.

Just wanted to point out that this is not a post in whch Randy attacked Nodler, it is just an example of when Randy mentions Nodler, there is this instant Nodler attack, often it is posted by Amanda Richardson's mother who started the whole theater smear campaign. Its just fine for Nodler's supporters to respond to the gratuitous and false attacks, wanted to point out that it isn't some group of pro-Nodler folks filling with comments but is almost always these attacks that start on this blog any time Nodler's name is mentioned. When they are answered it leads to more comments attacking those that defend Nodler so when you look back at the list of comments here like almost every other set of comments, it starts with an attack on Nodler that is just pointless.

What a team of losers...Blunt, Jetton, Talent, et al. Like a magnet, they are all attracted to each other.

Well, you know, Nodler is so special and everything, and that is why we can't allow anything negative to be said about this wonderful golden boy.
The fact is, he is a twit. And OF COURSE he wins by a landslide, because most of the voters here are twits, too. They get what they want.

To the last Anonymous: Our Senator is a winner not a twit; you on the other hand are a loser and a twit. You crawl out from under the rocks to throw mud at the greatest legislator our area has produced in a generation, and then when it is pointed out that he has the support of the people, you throw mud at our entire region. It’s good for you to stay under your rock and out of sight.

A twit is a person worthy of contempt.
Nodler is such a person.
He is not the greatest legislator our area has produced in a generation, but a sycophantic rubber stamp for the neocons in the GOP. He is not very smart. But then, he is not alone. All one has to do is, take a look at the current crop of GOP members of the house and senate, especially from this area, and you see more of the same idiopathic blather. It isn't their fault, really; they don't have the sense to know they are just shills.
Not all Republicans are stupid. John Danforth, also from Missouri, case in point. Kit Bond is not as smart as Danforth, but not stupid, either. And I could find some others. But none of them are from around here.
Maybe it is in the water.
But Truman, now there was a man.
And he was from around here.

A vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for Regis Philbin.

hahahahah, these last two comments come from such losing twits, hahahaha! With opposition from such twits, Romney will be shoe-in. The definition of a twit is an anonymous blogger that attacks the greatest legislator from our area in a generation by responding to his unrivalled legislative success with name-calling, that is a twit!

Regis Philbin would be a huge step up from any of the democrat candidates!

Read this posting to see what a "twit" is:http://bus-plunge.blogspot.com/2007/09/twinkies-pop-tarts-and-steak.html

Yep Romney is quite the candidate, todays polls showed him dead last. Maybe its the dead wood he has dragging around after him. I'm glad they have found each other. A marriage made in heaven.
