Erica Edwards tabbed to replace Justice as KOAM anchor

Erica Edwards has been named Dowe Quick's new co-anchor on KOAM's 5, 6, and 10 p.m.newscasts. The announcement was made tonight at the conclusion of the 10 p.m. newscast, as Rhonda Justice, co-anchor for the past three years said her goodbyes.
According to her bio on the KOAM website:

Erica Edwards comes to us from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Erica earned her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Journalism. She interned for CBS, New York, in the news productions department, and worked on a documentary about mediums, which aired on cable channel A & E. Erica also interned at WTAE in Pittsburgh.

She thinks the Four States are a great place because "the people are so kind and laid back."

KOAM said goodbye to Ms. Justice with the traditional clipfest featuring some notable and not-so-notable moments from her time at the station, and of course, played the Beach Boys classic, Help Me Rhonda, in the background.

so she's actaully never been a paid full-time employee at a tv station, and now she's a main anchor? hmmm... impressive!

What would you call the last year where she has been a reporter and weekend anchor for FOX-14.
