19th hearing set for Barton County Memorial Hospital embezzler

The wheels of justice continue to grind slowly for convicted Barton County Memorial Hospital embezzler Kimberly Schlup, according to Cedar County Circuit Court records. The most recent scheduled payment review hearing, on Jan. 4, was postponed, setting the stage for the 19th such hearing. She has yet to attend a payment review hearing concerning the $100,085 she stole from the hospital during her tenure as its finance director.

Court records do not indicate she has paid a cent since her sentencing on March 27, 2006.
Ms. Schlup spent four months in prison as shock time and then was released. She is required to repay the $100,085.

this is ridiculous. how many times can she postpone. Is this her or her attorney? Is this costing the taxpayers? Does the hospital she stole from not have a say in this She is telling everyone that she was set up and she isa Christian that would not do this. She works at Sunset Manor in the business office located in frontenac Ks.All she talks about is Jesus. I bet Jesus would want her to come clean
