Obama, McCain take lead in New Hampshire primary voting; Hillary Clinton shut out

Barack Obama and John McCain emerged as New Hampshire primary winners after Dixville Notch voters spent two minutes and 33 seconds in the voting booth beginning at midnight. Hillary Clinton received no votes, one less than New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson.
On the Democratic side, Obama received 7 votes to two for John Edwards and one for Richardson. The top vote-getter on the Republican side was McCain with four votes to two for Mitt Romney and one for Rudy Giuliani. Mike Huckabee, Fred Thompson, and Ron Paul did not receive any votes.

The results really do not mean much since Dixville Notch has not done well in predicting winners in the past, but it is another one of those great political traditions that make election years so fascinating.

???? I'm pretty sure Hillary Clinton won the democratic primaries in the state of New Hampshire.
